The new BlackBerry has been officially announced. It is called Bold and 9000 as we’ve heard. Specs are quite impressive and I can’t wait the summer to try one. Let’s recap:

- Runs BlackBerry OS 4.6

- Battery can handle up to 5 hours of talk and 13 days of standby time
- 128MB of flash plus 1GB of onboard memory (with encryption)
- Interchangeable color back plates
- Standard 3.5mm headphone jack
- Should start selling through AT&T this summer with pricing at around $300
- Size: 4.5×2.6×0.5 inches (it’s taller and wider than the Curve), weighs 4.7oz
