Motorola Droid X stars in its clearest off-the-cuff preview yet
Let’s be honest, we’ve seen more Droid X / Xtreme / Shadow spy shots than we can keep track of at this point, but for the latest batch, Mr.
GM follows Ford, brings Google Maps to OnStar eNav systems
Monkey see, monkey do — right? All jesting aside, you can’t help but chuckle over the timing here. Merely 24 hours after Ford announced that a Send to SYNC feature would allow motorists to beam Google Maps directions over Bluetooth to existing SYNC navigation systems, in flies General Motors with an eerily similar release.

Acer beTouch E130 kicks it BlackBerry-style, but runs Android 1.6 (video)
It’s not everyday that we come across an Android phone with an exposed keyboard, so naturally Acer’s beTouch E130 caught our eye here at Computex. The BlackBerry-esque phone is equipped with a 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen display, a scroll ball and a full QWERTY keyboard. In hand the device felt really solid, and though the screen is smaller than most Android phones, the rough-feeling scroll ball is great for navigating the menus.
Onkyo DX1007A5B dualscreen netbook preview
We’ve known about Onkyo’s DX dual-screened netbook for quite awhile, but it’s another thing entirely to see it extend its two 10-inch screens in person. On display at the Microsoft booth here at Computex , the Onkyo is still a rebadge of the Konjinsha DZ that we saw at CEATAC last year, but has a 1,366 ? 768-resolution display rather than the Konjinsha’s 1,024 x 600. In our short hands-on time we found the screens to extend smoothly, but the hinge did feel a bit weak, though that could very likely be the result of being used and abused on the show floor.
