Elecom released the Super-mini SATA SSD
Japan’s Elecom Corporation today announced a series of new solid-state hard drive, including two “nanoSSD” measures only 39 × 25 × 6.5 mm, weight is 8 grams, however, it should be that we’ve seen the most compact of the SATA interface to solid-state hard drive.
This little guy has two kinds of 8GB and 16GB capacity, read speed of 75MB / s, write speed of 30MB / s.
If you have spare SATA interface, but also do not need high-performance solid-state hard drives, this mini might consider to brought, but note that after the plug may cause the neighboring SATA can not be used, so it seems not exactly small.
In addition, there are two standard types of 2.5-inch solid state drive capacity 64GB and 128GB, but the performance data were not disclosed.
