Hacking team has demonstrated the permanent PS3 jailbreak
A hacking team has become demonstrating an approach which will crack the PlayStation 3′s loader with the recent Chaos Communication Congress event in Berlin. The latest PS3 hack states give users complete control over their console, a thing that is bound to cause some ire amongst Sony Computer Entertainment’s security specialists.
The team of hackers also demonstrated how they had got around Sony’s PS3 security systems, allowing the hacking community to sign their own individual code. What doing this means is that Sony’s current v3.55 firmware is already highly vulnerable. Plus, furthermore, it will be quite hard for Sony’s security folk carryout a permanent fix to these exploits.
The hackers promised the Chaos Communication Congress crowd that they’ll release the equipment to look at selling point of their PS3 crack next month.
